Wow!

I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the reactions I received to the
railroad gauge piece. A similar piece of trivia, which I do not remember
where I heard, is that a British mobile artillery piece, which only needs 4
soldiers to operate it, always has a 5-man crew. The fifth man is the one
who used to hold the horse while the cannon was being fired!

Any information on that?
