Chereé and I finally got rid of BellSouth completely at home, going to
"cell phone only" status plus cable Internet service. Accordingly, I
have the following no-longer-needed land-line phones and accessories for
sale....

Cordless phone: Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone Model GH2405MS, 2.4 GHz
Digital Spread Spectrum, Extended Range. With AC adapter and cord to
plug in base station. I haven't found the manual yet but you probably
won't need one; its operation is very straightforward. Asking $20.

Cordless phone: Panasonic Model KX-TC1484B, 900 MHz with built-in name
and number Caller ID display. With AC adapter, base station cord and
manual. Asking $20.

Corded phone: Lennox Sound Model HAC PH-318, desktop type telephone
with speaker phone feature and 13 number memory. No AC power or
batteries needed for operation (so good for use during power outages
this winter!). Comes with a cord; instructions are printed on the back
of the unit. Asking $10.

Answering machine: BellSouth Model 1187, all digital answering system.
No tape; incoming and outgoing messages are digitally recorded in
on-board memory. Records date and time of each incoming message. With
AC adapter, cord and manual. Asking $10.

Caller ID unit: BellSouth Model CI-79, caller ID with name and number,
works with call waiting (shows name/number of incoming call while you
are on the phone). With AC adapter, cord, and Spanish language manual.
(I'm still looking for the English version :) Asking $5.

Caller ID unit: BellSouth Model CI-30, caller ID with name and number,
works with call waiting (shows name/number of incoming call while you
are on the phone). With AC adapter and cord; manual missing in action.
  Asking $5.

Corded phone: Southwestern Bell Freedom Phone Model FC 2570, "Princess"
type telephone (suitable for bedside or tabletop use). This is about as
basic a phone as it gets. Comes with a cord; if you need a manual to
operate it, buying a telephone is the least of your problems ;) Asking $3.

As far as I know all of the above are in good working condition. Just
to make sure, each item comes with my "same week" money back guarantee.
Take it home and try it for a couple of days; if it doesn't do what
you want, return it to me ASAP and I'll return your $ and see if someone
else wants it. Once it's home and working satisfactorily, it carries
the same warranty as your average used car :)

If interested in any of these items, reply by e-mail or call me on
campus at x4084.
