I teach a course on entitled: "First Amendment" on Mondays, Wednesdays, and
Fridays at noon. Should I expect some of my First Amendment students to skip
their First Amendment class in order to exercise their First Amendment rights
and thus learn less about the First Amendment? How silly. I would think it
better to come to class, learn about their rights, and exercise them in a more
productive way. But, I guess, it is refreshing to see students care about any
public issue regardless of their position.
