I understand the message I forwarded was somehow clipped. Ah, technology.

We'll try again.

Would you like to feed the soul and the body at the same time? You've got
two great opportunities this week! They're both at the same time, though,
so you'll have to choose.

First, join the Chattanooga Boys Choir and the Dismembered Tennesseans for
"Fiddlin' Around the World", the thirteenth annual Catering to the
Chattanooga Boys Choir, backstage at the Tivoli Theatre on Thursday, April
18, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. 33 area restaurants and caterers will offer up
their best specialties, while the Boys and the Dismembered Tennesseans
entertain. Proceeds from the event benefit the Choir's scholarship program.

Or you can check out the Arts and Education Council's "Reader's Feast" this
Thursday at the Southside Grill. Authors Joe Dabney, John Edge and
Vertamae Smart-Grosvenor will be on hand to discuss books, food, and
Southern culture-yummy! Seats are limited and today is the last day for
reservations. Call the AEC at 267-1218 for more information.

The Chattanooga Symphony and Opera salutes Richard Rodgers this Saturday
night, with special guests, "Bravo Broadway," one of the most entertaining
trios I've ever heard-you'll love them!

Escape the Tax-Man Blues this week with the arts. And speaking of taxes,
your gift to Allied Arts is tax-deductible if you itemize. We're half-way
to our 2002 goal of $2,120,000 for the arts in Chattanooga. If you haven't
made your pledge yet, now's the time! You can do it on-line at our website
or just respond to this e-mail with your pledge, which can be paid anytime
before December 31, 2002.

There are many more arts events this week, which you can find on our
website at www.alliedartschattanooga.org, where you can also get
information on times, locations, and purchasing tickets.
