Dr. Robert Bailey, Dr. Ronald Goulet, and Dr. Cecelia Wigal of the College
of Engineering and Computer Science were awarded $25,000 by Astec, Inc. to
fund a 2000-01 Senior Design Experience.  The goal of this Experience was
to produce a reliable device which could empirically determine the heat
transfer coefficient, a control system to provide for safety and
functionality, and an adequate data collection system.

Congratulations to Drs. Bailey, Wigal, and Goulet on receiving support from
Astec for this project.
