The UTC Jazz Ensemble will be performing a "Traditional Jazz Literature"
concert tonight in the Roland Hayes Auditorium beginning at 7:30. It will
feature music from great composers/band leaders such as Count Basie, Duke
Ellington, Stan Kenton, Benny Goodman and others. 

 

Also, professional vocalist Mrs. Annie McClendon (www.anniemcclendon.com)
will be joining us for the second half of the concert. She has performed
with some of the top big bands in the Country, including winning the coveted
position with "The Airmen of Note" (Airforce Jazz Ensemble).
