The History Department would like to announce a lecture by Dr. Oliver
Griffin of Colgate University entitled, "The German Army Looks East,
1871-1914."  Dr. Griffin is the first of our candidates for the vacant
position in nineteenth- and twentieth-century Europe.  The talk will be
given at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, 25 February in 406 Brock.
