I would like to encourage all faculty, staff and students to attend a AED
Training. It is
very informative and teaches you C.P.R. techniques as well as how to use a
defibrillator,
which analyzes and monitors a person's heart, as well as send electronic
impulses to start
ones heart. The machine tells you what to do. It's very simple and
doesn't require you
to have any extensive medical knowledge. I wasn't aware that four people
have died on
campus due to heart failure, perhaps we can prevent it from happening if
more of us
knew exactly what to do. Please attend a session if you can, you may safe
a life,
possibly that of a family member or a Mr., Mrs., or Ms. Joe Public. Think
about it!!!!!!!!!!!
