I thought from the first time I saw the name "Raven" as a name for the UTC
network that it had been named for the UTC Raven Society, whose membership
as well as their meeting times were always kept secret.  All anyone who was
not a member knew was that the Ravens were the movers & shakers on campus.
As I recall, membership in the Ravens was only announced at the end of the
person's college career.  I find it hard to believe that with the long
history of the Ravens on the UC/UTC campus that anyone just made up the
name "out of the clear blue."

Does the Raven Society still exist?
