On Saturday, February 12, 4 - 5:30 PM in the Tennessee Room of the
University Center, the Chattanooga Tai Ji Community, in conjunction with
the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Geography, will celebrate
the Chinese New Year (the Year of the Rooster) with a martial arts
demonstration.
Teachers (including UTC's own Dr. Zibin Guo) and students from area tai ji
classes will perform an assortment of empty hand and weapons forms. A slide
show highlighting a recent tour of China will also be shown.
The public is invited; there is no charge for admission.
