The British Are Coming! The British Are Coming! The King's Singers, that is.

This a capella ensemble, considered by many (me included) the top male
vocal ensemble touring today, will be here in Chattanooga for one concert
only at 7:30 pm on Thursday, November 14, at First Baptist Church, 401
Gateway Avenue. They will be joined by Special guests, Chattanooga Boys
Choir Concert Choir.

I personally saw the King's Singers in 1986, and they are everything one
wants to hear in a choral concert. They perform music from the Renaissance
to the Beatles, from madrigals and motets to Elton John.

The concert choir from the Chattanooga Boys Choir had an opportunity to
work with a fonding member of the King's Singers over the summer, and we
are really happy to have them as guest artists for this concert.

This concert is presented by Patten Performances. For tickets, call the
Fine Arts Center Box Office at 423-425-4269. We have discounts for seniors,
UTC staff and faculty, students and groups of ten or more.
