Dr. John McCormack, Station Manager of WUTC-FM 88.1, has received $12,547
from National Public Radio (NPR) to fund a major equipment upgrade.

WUTC has offered cultural enrichment and quality entertainment to the
community for the past twenty years. The station also offers valuable
applied experience to students in the Communication Department, giving
audio production students the opportunity to work with the latest advances
in communication technology. This new grant is part of an on-going effort
to maintain the highest quality of programming service to area listeners
and the most innovative equipment for students to work with. The funds will
support the purchase and installation of state-of-the-art digital satellite
equipment for WUTC-FM.

Congratulations to Dr. McCormack, we appreciate your continuing efforts
to keep WUTC at the forefront of radio technology!
