You have a grand opportunity to participate in a very special occasion.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. is celebrating 100 years of leadership
and service as the first African-American Greek letter fraternity.
Founded on December 4, 1906 at Cornell University, the fraternity has
established a legacy of academic excellence and service to all mankind.
We are hosting a Centennial Celebration in Chattanooga to celebrate our
fraternity. 

 

This event will serve as the beginning of the Centennial Celebration in
the city of Chattanooga and will also commemorate the founding of Alpha
Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.  The event is being hosted on October 30,
2006, on the Centennial Anniversary of the First Initiates' Banquet of
the fraternity.  The Celebration will commence with an intimate dinner.
The menu will consist of the food served at the original banquet.
Following the dinner, there will be a program with a special
Chancellor's address, musical tributes, and special awards.  The event
will be held at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the
University Center.  Tickets for the banquet will be $25.00 per ticket
while admittance to "The Programme" is free.
