COMMUNITY SERVICE
Each athletic team has served the community in many ways this past year. With
assistance of the Student-Athlete Council, many student-athletes helped
during Thanksgiving and Christmas time performing tasks with various
organizations.

Several student-athletes have been guest speakers at local elementary schools
as well as groups visiting schools and recreation centers. The
Student-Athlete Council recently teamed up with the Hamilton County
Department of Education to assist with the "Student Trait Program."

This year's Unity in The Community campus wide volunteer awareness day on
April 17 should prove to be more successful than last year. Over 80
student-athletes participated in the Saturday event last year.
