The UTC Phone system appears to be back in normal operation  due the efforts
of Luis Leon working with BellSouth.  All calls from off campus numbers are
now going through. This has been a complex issue to resolve but for now the
system is working.  If you experience any issue with telephone service or
your voice mail please call the telephone trouble line at 4784  M-F  8 AM to
5  PM.  Thank you again for bearing with us as we worked to resolve the
damage from the lighting strike.
