The Fund for Theological Education has announced its roster of Undergraduate
Fellowship winners for this year. Two undergraduate UTC students are among
the 71 select winners in this highly competitive nation-wide event that
provides each student with 3 years of graduate school support at
approximately $2,500 per year. Darris Saylors, a major in Religion, and
Kelly Fulkerson, a major in English, are among the rare pairs of winners
named from the same institution. Besides UTC, the only other institutions
with two student winners are Swarthmore College, Oberlin College, and
Davidson College, three of the most elite small undergraduate institutions
in the country (and none with a tuition less than $30,000 a year).
Congratulations to Darris, Kelly, and the College of Arts and Sciences.
