Because the first Tuesday is July 4th, the CHATTANOOGA GEOLOGY CLUB will 
meet on Tuesday, July 11th at 7 pm in Bretske Hall. Dr. Jeff Jarrett will 
speak on Mt. St. Helens. Jeff always has wonderful samples and great power 
point presentations so please join us. Remember it is open to the community.
Our August meeting is our annual picnic. This year it will be on a weekend 
because of the host and because our Oregon field trip group will not have 
recovered by the first Tuesday! More details on the picnic next month but 
it too is open to all. All, that is, who will bring a covered dish!
