I don't know how many of you have worked with the Boys and Girls Club,
but it is a wonderful, very active organization in Chattanooga. They
are having a fund raiser next weekend at the Hunter Art Museum. The
tickets for the event are $50 and include music by a live band (the
Distraxshuns, rated as one of the "best" party bands by MTV), desserts
from a dozen area restaurants, coffee from Stone Cup, an open bar and a
great silent auction including donated art from local artists and from
some of the participants in the B&G Club. It will be a lot of fun and
will help a worthy cause, too. So if you're not busy next Saturday
night, November 19th, come on over to the Hunter for a fun night - if
you are busy, come anyway. We'll be dancing 'til midnight.
(The flyer I have attached gives you the particulars, but it also shows
a three-tier donation of $50 up to $150. $50 is what it costs. These
flyers were sent to some of their known supporters and provides them the
"opportunity" to give more than the $50 base.)
Call 266-6131 for tickets. Hope to see you there!
