Dr. Jack Thompson of Engineering was recently awarded a $900 scholarship
from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to attend a workshop entitled
Improving Team Performance by Teaching Engineering to Teams.  Dr. Thompson
will attend the summer workshop at Southern Polytechnic State University in
Marietta, GA in July of this year.

Congratulations to Dr. Thompson for securing the funding for this important
faculty development opportunity.
