Please announce to interested UTC folks! This is a great group of local
environmentalists working to make Chattanooga live up to the "environmental
city" reputation it has "earned" and they need our support!
Please join us in celebration of Earth Day 2002 at:
--- The Environmental City Gala ---
Saturday, April 27, 7:30 pm at Audubon Acres
Live Music from: The Buskers
-- Pete Boubel, Heather Carnahan, Taylor Jones and Zack Czengoldi
-- play an eclectic mix of traditional jazz, folk songs and rock
-- & roll.
-- Music powered by the sun thanks to solar power from Big Frog
Mountain.
Vegetarian Food from: CIRCL
-- The Chattanooga Indigenous Resource Center and Library will
-- prepare authentic Native American Tacos. We will have all
-- the toppings for a full vegetarian meal.
Drinks will also be provided
-- Tea, natural spring water, shade grown coffee and a fine microbrew.
The Gala is presented by the Environmental City Task Force. It is an
informal party for individual efforts toward a better world. Your
dinner,
drinks and entertainment are all covered by your $10 annual membership
with
ECTF.
Directions to Audubon Acres:
>From I-75, take Exit 3A, then go east on East Brainerd Rd. At the
second
traffic light, turn right onto Gunbarrel Rd. Gunbarrel will wind right
into
North Sanctuary Rd. Audubon Acres is at this road's end, a distance of
about 2 miles from East Brainerd Rd.
