As co-chair of the campus wide United Way       Campaign for 2001, co-chair Julia
Cronin and I wish to congratulate the UTC community…we have met and
exceeded our $85,000 campaign goal!

I want to personally thank campaign coordinator Ms. Mary Scott, and the
other members of the 2001 United Way planning team for an outstanding effort!

Given the events of the last two months, reaching this goal will be of
major significance to the local United Way efforts.  Our success is also
indicative of the overwhelming generosity of the UTC community.  This
accomplishment will indeed place UTC within "The Top Tier" of institutions
who demonstrate enormous community support and outreach via its level of
per capita giving.

To every leadership donor; honors donor; and yes, to donors who gave as
little as one dollar from their heart, we praise and thank you…you have
made a difference!

We have scheduled our victory celebration on November 29, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30
p.m., in the Tennessee Room of the University Center.  Drop by and share in
the fellowship, fun and our small way of expressing our gratitude.
