Jonathon Looney has received $2,600 from the Tennessee Student Assistance
Corporation.  He will use these funds for a Guidance Counselor Intern
program.

This internship program provides financial support for K-12 guidance
counselors to work during the summer in UTC's Financial Aid office in order
to gain a better understanding of the financial aid process.  This enables
them to be more effective in advising students in K-12 schools regarding
their applications for college.

We commend Mr. Looney for his work in this area.
