ATTENTION UTC CAMPUS:

The National Alcohol Screening Day will be conducted on Thursday,
April 8th, from 9am to 3pm for UTC students in the Sequoyah Room in
the University Center. This program is sponsored by the Counseling and
Career Planning Center, Student Affairs, and the Student Health
Center.  This is a nationwide program designed to provide awareness
about alcohol use and the dangers of abuse.

The program will involve a 10-minute lecture, 10-minute video, and
discussion about the use of alcohol.  Also, students will be asked to
complete a 10-item confidential screening questionnaire.  The
questionnaire may be used for follow-up and individual or group
counseling.

Please help us spread the word and announce this to your students.  If
you need any further information, or would like us to do an alcohol
awareness presentation for your class, please contact Ray Fox or Donna
Cooper at the Counseling and Career Planning Center 755-4438.
