Dr. Roger Lundin, Clyde S. Kilby Professor of English at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ilinois, is the speaker for the 21st annual C.S. Lewis Lecture. His lecture title will be "Nimble Believing: Modern Literature and the Conflict of Interpretations". The lecture is free and will take place in Roland Hayes Hall at the Fine Arts Center on Monday, April 7, at 7:30 PM.

Dr. Lundin has taught at Wheaton College since 1978, and he also taught at the University of Notre Dame in 2000-2001 as a Visiting Professor of English. The American Library Association selected his book, Emily Dickinson and The Art of Belief, as an Outstanding Academic Book in 1998; and Books and Culture magazine selected it as Book of the Year. A second edition of this title is forthcoming in 2003, along with a new book, Crossing Boundaries: Literature and Theology in the Public Sphere.
