Faculty and staff colleagues,

Response to last week's kickoff for the annual Faculty and Staff Campaign
has been tremendous! With the capable assistance of 23 Building Captains,
pledges and gifts are up from this time last year, and we are hopeful for
one of our best years ever.

Many of us are choosing the Payroll Deduction Plan, or increasing the
amount presently deducted from paychecks. For only $8.34 per month,
deducted from paychecks, employees contribute $100.00 toward academic,
athletic, program improvements and enhancements, and other areas. All
gifts, no matter the size, are important and greatly appreciated. We expect
to wind up the campaign in the next 30 days and encourage you to complete
the "Get On Board" pledge card that your Building Captain provided you.

I would like to thank all Payroll Deduction enrollees and Building Captains
who attended Tuesday's rally breakfast in the University Center. If you are
among those who couldn't make it this time, we are planning an outdoor
picnic later this spring to celebrate the Faculty and Staff Campaign.
Everyone who joins in the Faculty and Staff Campaign won't want to miss
this one!

It's a great time to be part of Chattanooga's university and your
participation in helping UTC move ahead is greatly appreciated.
