Dr. Doug Kutz, Department Head and Ben Gross Professor of Chemistry, will serve on a panel to review proposals for the National Science Foundation’s (NSF’s) Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program.
The Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program supports projects that engage undergraduate students in research. Dr. Kutz will be serving on a panel of 20 reviewers examining 66 REU Site proposals in chemistry. Each panelist has been assigned 15 proposals to review.
An experienced NSF Reviewer, Dr. Kutz is serving as a review panelist to analyze proposal submissions and use this knowledge to enhance his future proposal submissions.
Congratulations to Dr. Kutz! Being selected by the NSF to serve on this review panel demonstrates your colleagues’ high regard for you, and the knowledge you gain during the review process will be a great asset for your future proposals.
