Dear colleagues,

Verbie Prevost has asked for a discussion with the General Education
Committee regarding the issue of transfer credit and our Western Humanities
requirement.  The committee has placed this discussion on its agenda for
its next meeting on Tuesday, November 9, at 3 p.m. in the Hiwassee Room.
All who are interested are welcome to attend.  (Please read the minutes of
10/19/99 related to this issue prior to this meeting.)
