Dr. Joseph Kizza of Engineering and Computer Science was recently
awarded a scholarship of $400 from the National Science Foundation to
participate in a Computing Research Association (CRA) Workshop. This
workshop, entitled "Using History to Improve Undergraduate Computer Science
Teaching," included a number of European and American computer science
professors who have taken an interest in history. The workshop was held in
Minneapolis, Minnesota, in April 2002.

Congratulations to Dr. Kizza for receiving this scholarship support.
