Dr. Neslihan Alp of Engineering and Computer Science recently received a
$1,000 grant from the Chattanooga Chapter for the Institute of Industrial
Engineers.

These funds will be used for a new Industrial Engineering Lab
to be housed in the new Engineering and Computer Science Building
currently under construction.  The Industrial Engineering faculty
hope to equip the new lab with appropriate equipment, tools, cabinetry,
and computer programs.

Congratulations to Dr. Alp on securing these funds to improve the
educational facilities of the industrial engineering program.
