As you may be aware, for the past 15 years UTC has partnered with Crutcher
Piano and Yamaha Corporation with a special piano loan program.  Each year,
the lease pianos are sold, and new ones arrive for us to use here in the
Music Department and at Cadek Conservatory.  This year's Sale Event brings
not only those pianos used here at UTC, but also additional inventory from
Crutcher Pianos.  The selection includes grand pianos, uprights and digital
pianos.  Financing is available, along with delivery.

 

A most exciting aspect of the 2007 sale: the Music Department has a
wonderful new opportunity.  The manager of Crutcher has promised that when
the sale totals reach $80,000, they will donate 1% of that to us for use in
developing a "Piano Fund" so that we will have the money available when we
need to purchase a piano.  Not only that, he has promised us 2% when they
reach $90,000 and a full 5% when sales exceed $100,000.  We're asking the
University community to help us get to the top!

 

The UTC Sales Event takes place August 2, 3, and 4 in the Roland Hayes
Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.  The first two days are by
appointment, and offer the best selection.  The third is open to the public.
