SATURDAY'S SOFTBALL OPENER RESCHEDULED

 

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- Due to the threat of inclement weather this Saturday,
the Chattanooga women's softball season opener at Frost Stadium has been
rescheduled. The doubleheader will now be played Thursday, Feb. 23 at 3 p.m.

 

"Lincoln Memorial could not reschedule if we waited until Saturday to make a
decision," Lady Mocs Head Coach Frank Reed said. "This way we can still get
the games played."

 

Chattanooga will now open the season against No.4 Georgia Tech at Frost
Stadium Wednesday, Feb. 15 in a doubleheader at 4 p.m. Chattanooga posted an
upset win over the Yellow Jackets last season at Frost to extend its
season-best win streak to 15 games.

 

It will be "Greek Night" Wednesday at the stadium. He fraternity and
sorority with the highest percentage of active members in attendance will
win a gift certificate for V.I.P. Care Package.
