The Women's Action Council, the Women's Studies program, Spectrum, the
Department of Communication, UTC Speakers and Special Events, and UTC
Housing are co-sponsoring a lecture, "Homophobia: How We All Pay a Price"
by Warren Blumenfeld of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst on March
20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tennessee Room of the University Center. This is a
slide presentation that offers a non-threatening and non-judgmental
approach to issues surrounding sexual identity and homophobia. Everyone is
welcome, and organizers of the event encourage professors to send or bring
classes.
