Bill,

I know you are a wonderful person and an asset to this university.  But, if
it's all right with you, could you lay off the "please do your homework"
bit.  There are those of us who are non-exempt who are just as intelligent
and responsible as you are and who will learn this, at no increase in pay
or prestige, both of which we have long since learned to live without.  We
don't have the time to learn it well and we will make mistakes, but we must
learn it so we will  or we will leave.

I presently overlook grants in my department amounting in thousands and
thousands of dollars, just for starters.  You can't be stupid and
irresponsible and do that well.  Now, can you.

I have been invited to one class only.  Why don't you guys spread more
information around more quickly???
