"Arab-Israeli Relations and the Stuggle for Peace in the Middle East"
Dr. Moshe Maoz

Dr. Moshe Maoz is professor of History in the Middle East at Hebrew
University in Jerusalem and Director of the Harry S. Truman Research
Institute for the Advancement of Peace.

Dr. Moshe Maoz has also served in various Israeli governments since 1960
when he was the Assistant-Advisor to Prime Minister Ben Gurion on Arab
Affairs in Israel. He has also been advisor to then Defense Minister Ezer
Weizman, Prime Minister Shimon Peres and to Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin.

Dr. Maoz has lectured throughout the United States and Europe and
participated and lectured in professional conferences in the Americas,
Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia. He is the author and editor of books on
Syria, Palestinian Politics and Arab-Israeli Relations.
