Since there have been some emails about the online phone directory, I would
like to tell you once again that it is up to each individual person to keep
their information updated and correct.  A lot of employees never update
their information even though I send out these emails yearly.  Please
update your information.  It is so easy to do.

To update your information:

Go to:  http://www.utc.edu/phonebook
Click on Change Information
Enter the alias or GEM, for example:  Brenda-Cummings (do NOT enter the
@utc.edu)
Enter the password (call me at x4765 or email me if you do not know your
password)
Click on Login
Update any incorrect information
Click on Change Information
To check the changes, click on your name that is highlighted in blue
afterwards.

If you want to change your password for the on-line phonebook, there is
also a Change Password box next to the Change Information box.  This only
changes your password for here, NOT your email password.

If anyone needs to be removed because they no longer work at the
university, I can do that.  If they have just moved to another department,
then they need to be contacted to update their information.

If you like, you could just designate someone in your department to look up
everyone and see if any information needs to be updated.  To do this, go
to  http://www.utc.edu/phonebook

Scroll down to find your department in the Department box
Click on Search

Scroll through the employees listed and see what changes need to be made.
