If you have not already bought Water Lettuce (Pistia stratiotes) plants for your water garden, my ponds are
rapidly filling up.   I have at least 400 plants free for those who would like to come by and pick them up.  (These plants sell at the Water Garden for $3.95 each.)
 Call (423) 756-0609 (Nita Kay Pugh) when you are ready to come over. Otherwise, I plan on tossing them out this weekend.
Warning:  The experts say they prefer partial shade, but please be forewarned: They multiply rapidly in the sun.
