This weekend the Southeastern Color guard Circuit (SCGC)held its Championship in the UTC Makenzie Arena. Over Three thousand high School students (not counting parents) were represented from four states. Our arena, facilities, police and security staff provided top notch service to this organization as colorguards and drum lines flooded the campus. I was swarmed by students and directors who had nothing but the highest of praise for the way our people facilitated Championships this year. I was informed a few weeks ago that another city is bidding to get Championships to come to their location (this may be incorrect as I have yet to check the sources). I feel UTC did such a fine job there will be much difficulty in moving the event and will lobby hard to bring it back for a third year. Great Job folks! Once again, you made UTC look good.
