Dr. Cherry Guinn of the School of Nursing has been awarded $1000 by
Pharmacia to conduct a summer workshop called "Current Health Trends:
Families and Children at Risk."

The workshops are three separate day-long events on May 23 and 30 and June
6 and include topics such as Violence Against Women, Assessing Children
with Depression and Eating Disorders, and Preventing School Violence.

Congratulations to Dr. Guinn on receiving this funding and for addressing
these and other important issues through her summer workshops.
