Congratulations to Dr. Marlene Bradshaw, Dr. Mary Tanner, and the College
of Education and Applied Professional Studies! A recent issue of the
"Chattanooga Magazine" (Volume 8, No. 4) features the "Each One Reach One"
program, established to recruit African American men in Chattanooga to
become teachers. The article was written by our own Barbara Kennedy.
A number of Each One Reach One participants have given up successful
careers outside of education to become positive role models in the
classroom. The "Chattanooga Magazine's" complementary article
appropriately recognizes the significant contribution this program makes to
the youth of our city.
Thanks to all involved in "Each One Reach One" for the hard work and
positive recognition brought to UTC.
If you have not yet read this article, please make an effort to do so.
