What: Trebuchet Shootout: A Performance Assessment in Engineering Dynamics

When: Friday April 24, 2002 11:00pm-ish to 1:00pm-ish

Where: Athletic Practice Field 5th Street across from arena, next to parking
structure

Who: 2nd year engineering dynamics class

Why: Three teams will present and proof test trebuchet catapaults designed
and constructed as part of a final semester project.

What's a trebuchet? It's a medieval siege device. Remember Monty Python and
the Holy Grail? For more, try google search or get started at
http://trebuchet.com/

Curious? Drop by. Bring some old fruit however we'll be hurling no flaming
bovines!
