I have heard that our cooling systems have been shut down in order to save
money. This is a rumor of course, but if there is truth to this, would
whoever please consider the following:
It is hard to lecture in stuffy heat. You lose your oomph.
Students do not concentrate as well while testing in heat.
For those of use who do not have windows in our offices, it is very
stifling. If we do have windows, not all of them open.
For those who suffer from asthma or a cold, this makes breathing quite
difficult (no air circulation).
People become very crabby when they are hot.
Thank you for any consideration of this.
