All of you that want to enter the "Bake Off Dessert Contest" for the 
August picnic, please email or call me by this Friday, July 21st so 
we can determine if there's enough interest to do the contest. We had 
such a good response to the first one, I believe you will  want to do 
another one.  Some people have asked, what did people wear in the 
50's?  Well the capris  that you ladies are wearing now were very 
popular in the 50's only they were called "peddle pushers" so here we 
are - in style again. Scarves around the neck, poodle skirts, saddle 
oxfords were also the "in" thing.  The guys wore button down shirts, 
casual pants and blue jeans.  Again, we will have a contest for the 
best dressed person so go through your closet and see what you 
have.  The food will be delicious, the gym will be cool and a couple 
of surprises are in store.  More news to come.
