Gym)

 

Saturday, February 24th  UTC Rowing Fundraiser Luncheon at OUTBACK
Steakhouse @

                                          Hamilton Place and Silent Auction

 

 

   The Tennessee Indoor Rowing Championships are free to enter for all UTC
Students, Faculty

and Staff.  We have events for Masters, Veterans, and for those who have
"Never-Ever" rowed

before.  You can register the day of the event, but it is best to register
by Monday, Jan 22nd to 

insure that you have a lane assignment.  There is even a 500 meter (1/4 the
distance the rowers

go) for parents of rowers.  So, if you have a child at GPS, McCallie,
Baylor, Chattanooga Juniors

or UTC, you can help the rowing team out by entering the parents event at
12:45 pm.  And there

is an event for the youngsters, a 4 minute row, so they all start and stop
at the same time.  And

each child gets a shirt if they have a parent who is registered to row in
the competition (free shirt

for the kids).  Plus, BIG BLUE M&M will be there to hand out treats from 12
noon to 1 pm.

 

 

   The Outback Steakhouse at Hamilton Place UTC Rowing Fundraiser Luncheon
will be on Saturday,

February 24th.  Tickets will be $12 per person, for ages 10 and older (we
can work something out for

the families with young children).  This is an all-you-can-eat buffet of
steak, chicken, mashed potatoes,

french fries, salad, dessert and drink.  The time will be from 11:30 am to 1
pm.   Contact Robert

Espeseth (-5333) for tickets (which will be available starting late next
week).  You do need a ticket to

get in, so once we sell out, we are done.  The Silent Auction final bids
will be on Saturday, 2/24 at

the Outback Steakhouse at Hamilton Place as well.  The bidding will close at
12:30 pm, however,

you will be able to make bids on-line starting February 15th.  I will send
out a list of all items available

for bidding on Thursday, 2/15.

 

   Please make all checks payable to "UTC Rowing".  We cannot take credit
cards.
