The Department of Theatre & Speech is working on a production of The
Importance of Being Earnest; and because of limited budgets is seeking a
number of items for the production. Among those items we are seeking to
borrow are:
Oriental Rugs (4 or 5 ranging in size from 4x6 to 9x12 or larger)
An oriental folding screen
Rattan or wicker furniture (a table and two chairs and possibly 2-3 benches)
A settee or sofa (Victorian or Edwardian era)
A Venus-type statue (3-4 feet in height)
A wall tapestry (around 4 w x 8 h feet)
2 busts
Some sizable piece of art with frames (11x14 or larger)
If you own or know anyone who might be willing to loan these items for the
run of the production please let me know by e-mail or phone. All items
will be very carefully handled and kept safe.
The production runs from September 28th through October 6th. We would need
these items by September 20th and will be returned Monday, October 8th
following the show's closing. We are willing to pick up and return any
items that are loaned to us. Thank you for your consideration.
Many thanks,
