At Wednesday's (3/29) Lady Mocs' doubleheader against Lee University, the
Lady Mocs are proud to team up with the Memorial Hospital/Mary Ellen Locher
Breast Center to raise awareness and money to support the fight against
cancer. Breast cancer survivors and support groups are invited to attend
the game.
From 3:00-5:30pm, the Memorial Mobile Health Coach will be at Frost
Stadium offering free or reduced cost mammogram to those without
insurance. The mobile health coach also offers breast health education,
access to clinical breast exams, state-of-the-art mammography and
osteoporosis assessment for under insured and those without insurance. For
more information about Memorial's Health Coach or to set up an appointment,
please call 423-495-6744.
Game time is 5:00pm at Frost Stadium. Anyone wearing pink will receive
free admission to the game. On a personal note, I would like to invite
everyone to come see Gene Herron, a 9-year breast cancer survivor and my
father throw out the first pitch.
