The Department of Political Science, Public Administration and Nonprofit
Management wishes to inform all faculty advisors that a new course ( Public
International Law) will be taught for the first time in Fall 2007:
Political Science 421r (02) Public International Law
An introduction to the law which governs the relations among states,
including its historical development, its sources, its relation to the
internal law of states, and the institutes and procedures for the settlement
of disputes, especially the United Nations and its courts.
This course will be taught by Father Jim Mallett who has been teaching as an
adjunct professor at Vanderbilt Law School for a number of years.
Father Mallett will also be teaching a course on International Humanitarian
Law in the Spring 2008 semester.
