All work orders for new telephone or network service or to changes to
existing service needed for the start of the Fall Semester for faculty and
staff service need to be received by Telecommunications by July 18, to allow
time to complete the installation prior to the start of the fall semester.
Telephone work orders may be submitted to Telecommunications at mail code
4054, or faxed to 2200.

Starting August 12th priority for installing new service or moves will be
given to students moving into housing until all students are served.

Trouble with existing telephone service will continue to be repaired on
first in first out schedule.  The number to report all telephone trouble is
4784. There is no charge to the department to repair a telephone trouble.

Troubles with the network or computers should be reported to the Help Desk
at 4000.

With all the relocations this year and the moves supporting the new
Engineering, Math, Computer Science Building, University Center, Race Hall
plus the relocation of several departments, this is has been a very
challenging time to meet telecommunication needs of the campus. We would
like to thank each of you for your understanding and patience as we work to
provide the best possible service to the Campus.
