Colleagues,

Please remember that the English Department offerings to help students
complete the writing intensive requirement now include two sections of a
new course, "Technical Writing," ENGL 276. This course is particularly
appropriate for students whose majors require the preparation of technical
documents--those bringing together visual and verbal data, those requiring
precise editing, including detailed instructions, abstracts, descriptions
of processes or inter-related mechanics, and so on. Students will have
opportunities to design reports, presentations, proposals, graphics,
brochures, and web pages.

The course meets in the fall semester on TTH at 12:15 and TTH at 1:30.

Please let me know if you have questions.
