Hello IRIS users!

For up-to-date and current information pertaining to the IRIS implementation, please look daily at the UTC IRIS web site:

http://www.utc.edu/iris

There is all kinds of information explaining when certain modules are being implemented. Lots of good information is included in the IRIS Implementation Team's Minutes. The minutes are an excellent 'snapshot' of these meetings with some good information. I highly encourage and recommend that everyone read these.

I am continually working on training materials and 'tip sheets' as fast as I can. Please keep checking everyday for more of these under the Training section of the web site.

TRAINING TIP: Please remember, only YOU can make yourself proficient in any software package. The trainers are here to help guide you through the material and demonstrate how to do the tasks, but to become proficient in any software package, you have to PRACTICE. Going to one class without practicing will not make you proficient.

If you could take 15 to 30 minutes each day just to run through an iTutor or do one exercise, you would be surprised at how much that will help.

Thank you, and Happy IRISI'ing,

Laura

ps--I apologize if you receive this email twice, but I am sending it to UTCSTAFF as well as the UTC IRIS User Group email list.
