I had a problem worth noting at Shabo Dental Spa also:
I went to Shabo for a regular cleaning and asked if my headaches might be related to TMJ ( a jaw disorder). He measured my bite and said I had TMJ for sure. Then he told me about a mouthpiece that I needed to buy for $6,000.00 and that I would require three years of braces at some unknown cost. Of course when I asked Shabo about going to an oral surgeon to confirm TMJ, he said that the oral surgeon would just send me back to him. Shabo stated that he was just cutting out the middleman.
After hearing those ridiculous prices, I went to an oral surgeon to see if I really had TMJ. The oral surgeon said that I did NOT have TMJ and did not require braces.
Just beware if you go there and are told that you need expensive procedures.
